Sonar's Ghost & Outrage / Army Of Ghosts – Heightened Volume 1 – 10" Vinyl (Red/Black Smoke & Black Editions)

7th Storey Projects returns after a 5-year hiatus with a brand-new series of releases titled Heightened. 

Concentrating on the heavier, darker corners of Jungle, Heightened is dedicated to music that prioritises mood, tension and depth.

The first instalment features two collaborative tracks, both showcasing Sonar's Ghost. 

On the A-side, he teams up with Outrage aka Nomine, while the B-side sees him join forces with Dave Sector under their Army of Ghosts moniker.

While different in style, both tracks are bound by common themes: time and the iconic Amen break.

"Switch In Time" pushes its drums to the absolute limit before unleashing heavy sub-bass, sinister chords, and eerie pads. 

In contrast, "Into The Past" feels less claustrophobic but proves just as fierce, layering an array of cosmic sounds and atmospherics over tearing, filtered Amen edits and punchy bass.
